How this works, in plain English
- • We pull the player’s real game-by-game stats (ESPN, free and live) and count how often they actually beat the number you typed.
- • Recent games count more than old ones, and small samples get pulled toward a coin flip so nothing looks like a sure thing.
- • “Fair price” is what the payout would have to be for the bet to break even. If the sportsbook offers less, they are taking a cut you can’t beat.
- • Parlays multiply. Three 60% picks is only a 22% chance — that’s why they pay big and lose often.
